The question “Who invented that?” is often asked. That the answer mentions a Swiss origin comes as no surprise. Heinrich Kuhn, the founder of Kuhn Rikon, and his son Jacques were passionate inventors. Their innovative spirit gave rise, among other things, to the DUROMATIC®, the world’s first pressure cooker with a spring valve, “Made in Switzerland” in Rikon.
The workforce of our internationally renowned family business is constantly growing. We invest in the development of new products, but also in the optimization of our existing products and manufacturing processes, as well as in our manufacturing site in Rikon.
To meet growing demand, maintain our competitive edge on the planet and be able to offer a wide range of products, we produce part of our offering in the European Union and part in Asia. Regardless of the origin of our products, one thing remains constant:
the high quality standards of Kuhn Rikon. We work with reliable partners who meet the strict requirements of our product managers, designers and engineers.
The “Kuhn Rikon Switzerland” logo is affixed to each of the products that we manufacture in Switzerland. All our other articles bear the “Swiss Design” label.
This logo is systematically displayed on our packaging and used in our communication materials. We explain their respective meanings to you in detail under the map on the left.
No matter which product you decide to purchase, it will always bear the specific Kuhn Rikon hallmark and will demonstrate the expertise of our teams of designers and engineers.
